User Generated Competitions
The most popular type of competition in Facebook across our customers, and often the most effective, User Generated Competitions allow users to enter by writing a text entry, uploading a photo from their desktop or Facebook album, or submitting a video. All entries go into a leaderboard where other people can vote and comment on their favourites and see the most voted entrant. An admin site allows the tracking and moderating of entries, as well as data collection.
Interactive User Generated Competition
Using an interactive flash module, we can allow the user to first pull in a photo, and then manipulate or add items to it within Facebook. The created photo is then entered into the main competition for other users to vote and comment, just like the standard User Generated Competition. This allows for more creativity in the entrance process and can create content with a stronger brand identity.
Sweepstakes & Giveaways
For simple sweepstakes or giveaways, we have a simple platform to collect data and track entries. Although not as complex or interactive as User Generated Competitions, this is a great way to collect data and give value to your fans in a fast and cost effective way. They are also the simplest to re-use; from the admin website you are able to completely change the graphics and text of the competition, and move it between pages.
