Project Manager
iPlatform is a vibrant social network application development company based in Central London and proud to be the first Preferred Developer Consultant team for Facebook in the UK. We successfully produce and market many large and exciting social applications for Blue Chip companies, including Google, McDonalds, The Economist, ITV, Comic Relief, Swatch, Fairtrade, HP, Ministry of Sound, E! Entertainment and our personal favourite, Facebook, for whom we built the child on-line protection app and The Official Royal Wedding app.
We specialise in building social applications for the Facebook and Facebook Connect Platforms. Launched in early 2008, iPlatform works with some of the biggest agencies and brands in the UK and Europe, delivering multiple major Facebook based brand campaigns every month. Our team are experienced in planning, designing, building and maintaining social applications, from simple quizzes to large interactive flash games.
We are looking for a highly motivated Digital Producer (or Project Manager) to join our expanding team at iPlatform. Ideally you would have worked with or within an agency, with a great track record of client satisfaction and delivering projects on time and in budget. You would have to have a genuine interest in social media, particularly Facebook and building on the platform, which also includes keeping up-to-date with its constant changes and improvements.
You would be working with a team of developers alongside a Lead Developer and another Project Manager. You will be producing realistic schedules to deliver projects, functional specs and will be expected to provide strong leadership and direction to project teams. Clear communication is essential as well as ensuring the management of client expectations throughout all stages of the project life cycle.
Ideally we are looking for
· 2-3 years of project management experience
· Ability to manage whole project life cycle
· Keen interest in Facebook
· Excellent communication skills
· Some technical knowledge
· Good ability to grasp Facebook application user flow and wireframing
Key responsibilities include:
· Managing a full project lifecycle
· Maintaining project budgets
· An understanding of what makes effective and clear project briefs, cost estimations and timing plans
· Main liaison between clients and developers
· Providing quotes for new project briefs (working with Lead Developer)
· Provide wireframes and functional specifications
· Maintain developer resources
· Managing all QA-ing
· Keeping up to date with Facebook changes and how it affects brands and its fan pages
Remuneration:
Starting salary £24k+ depending on experience
